The pour-over is one of our favorite coffee brewing methods: it's simple, clean, low-tech, and results in a truly delicious cup of coffee.

There are several great producers of pour-over equipment out there, and we especially love the products made by Hario, a Japanese company that was founded in 1921 as a manufacturer of laboratory glassware and expanded to household items in 1948. 

The perfect place to start if you want to make awesome pour-over coffee at home is with this beautiful handmade white ceramic V60 Dripper  from Hario. Filters are sold separately. The V60's cone shape and spiral ribs helps gravity take charge as you slowly pour hot water over your freshly ground coffee. Pour the water onto the grounds in a circular fashion; quickly for a light flavor or slowly for a richer taste. This dripper size is best for making 1-4 cups of coffee at a time.
